Osevio: 41% Growth in Organic Orders

41%Organic orders

We grew Osevio's organic orders 41%

In a flowers and gifts category one player owns outright, we grew through the long tail instead. Traffic up 54%, organic revenue up 96%.

THE BRAND

About Osevio

Founded in late 2017, Osevio is an online flowers and gifts brand with a catalog running from bouquets and arrangements to fruit baskets and personalized gifts.

There is no store chain. Delivery runs through its own distribution points and a partner florist network, with same day delivery as the core promise.

Demand clusters around occasions and swings hard by season, while one large player owns every generic query.

In that setup the smaller player wins on the long tail: category pages by city, by occasion, by product type. That is where we built.

WHERE WE STARTED

What we were up against

What stood in the way when we started. The order is not random, we went after the highest impact first.

One large player owning every generic query
Demand tied to occasions and swinging hard by season
No pages built by city or by occasion
Blog traffic never turning into orders
Thin content on category and product pages
Success being measured in traffic instead of orders
THE PLAN

What we did

1

We fixed the technical base

We fixed crawlability and indexing. During a seasonal peak, site health shows up directly in sales.

2

We built for the long tail

Category pages by city, occasion and product type, going after queries with obvious intent instead of the generic ones.

3

We measured on revenue

We measured orders and revenue, tracking keywords for category and product pages only and leaving the blog out of it.

THE TAKEAWAY

When one player owns the market, you come in through the long tail

Rather than fight the leader on generic queries, we entered hundreds of small ones with unmistakable intent. Traffic rose 54%, revenue 96%.

Non-brand focusThe growth came from people discovering the brand, not from people already looking for it.
A base that lastsWhat is left is an organic base that compounds instead of resetting the day the work stops.
One viewTraffic, keywords and revenue read off one screen instead of three separate reports.
